NEW ITEMS FOR SALE

I've been a professional taxidermist for 26 years, helped by my wife, Mairi. Although skilled in all aspects of taxidermy, it's my love for big game that interests me the most and this I hope is evident in my work. I was awarded "Master gamehead specialist" in 1997 by the Guild of Taxidermists and was the first Taxidermist in the UK to achieve this status ( Currently only two British taxidermists have gained this award). Due to work commitments I was unable to attend the Guild meetings for the last fourteen years but have now resumed my membership and attended the annual meeting in March 2011.

Awards

1994 - Mammal 1st place Professional - Roe Deer

1994 - Best in Show - Roe Deer

1995 - Mammal 1st place Professional - Fallow Buck

1997 - Awarded Master Gamehead Specialists (This is the highest award accredited by the Guild of Taxidermists)

2011 - Mammal 3rd place Professional - African Lion

2011 - Mammal 2nd place Professional - Red Deer Stag

2011 - Best in Show - Red Deer Stag

2011 - Awarded Qualified Mammal Specialist

2011 - 1st Higher credit in Mammals (3 needed to qualify as Master Specialist)

2012 - Higher credit for Topi shoulder mount
